We have some outstanding workshop presentation for this year’s pop up EcoLinks.  Each workshop is coordinated by your local OSEE board member.

This year’s theme will be Outdoor Learning across Ontario and we have five workshops to offer.  

1. February 14 from 10-12pm Winter Drop-In at Langdon Park, Greater Sudbury (Val Caron)  This is event is free but you can register at TicketBud
2. March 28 from 3-5pm Pollinators & Plant Power at 10C Shared Space, Guelph.  Find out what the BUZZ is all about! This workshop highlights teaching activities, hands-on lessons that can help students learn about pollinators. Also find out about important plants to use when creating a pollinator patch/path to use as a living laboratory or outdoor classroom. Participants will leave with the resources and the confidence to bring back pollinators to your home or schoolyard! 3. April 11 from 10-12pm Nature Journaling with Buckthorn Ink at Kortright Centre for Conservation.  Billie Jo and Erin acquaint you with this green interloper—the European Buckthorn—through a Nature Journaling experience. In this workshop, you will explore the three languages of words, pictures, and numbers, discovering how they can engage your brain in novel ways as we document observations, curiosity, and connections through Nature Journaling.
