The field of Environmental Education (EE) is expanding in its scope and application. To help educators stay current and find ways to use EE to build upon the curriculum across all grades and subjects, OSEE has chosen to highlight five emerging themes within Environmental Education for the 2019 conference workshops:

2) Makerspaces and loose parts play
3) Exploring food systems through environmental education
4) Indigenous perspectives & environmental education
5) Environmental justice
